Connect Klaviyo

Connect Klaviyo to send the app's wishlist events to your Klaviyo account and build your wishlist emails there with flows.

Before you start: you need a Klaviyo private API key. Find it below in Find your Klaviyo private API key.

Connect your account

  1. In the app, go to Settings › General settings.

The app's Settings page with the General Settings tab highlighted.

  2. Under Integrations, click Customize.

The Integrations section with the Customize button highlighted.

  3. Turn on Klaviyo, paste your key into Klaviyo private API key and click Save.

The Integration page with the Klaviyo switch turned on, the private API key field and the Save button highlighted.

  4. Go back to General settings, scroll to Email notification and turn on the emails whose events you want in Klaviyo.

The Email notification section with the email switches turned on.

Keep the emails switched on in the app, whether the app or Klaviyo sends them. The app sends events to Klaviyo only for the emails that are on.

Build the emails in Klaviyo

The app sends these metrics to Klaviyo:

  • Wishlist Engine Price Drop Alert
  • Wishlist Engine Back in Stock Alert
  • Wishlist Engine Auto Reminder Alert

To send the emails from Klaviyo, create a flow in Klaviyo for each metric you want to use.

When the integration is on, Wishlist Engine sends events and customer data, including email addresses, to the Klaviyo account the private API key belongs to.

Check the metrics in Klaviyo

When you turn on the integration, the app creates a profile with the email address test@gmail.com in Klaviyo. You can find all the metrics on that profile.

  1. In Klaviyo, go to Audience › Profiles.

  2. Search for test@gmail.com and open the profile.

The Klaviyo Profiles page with test@gmail.com in the search box and the profile in the results.

The profile's activity lists the Wishlist Engine metrics.
